Timber Lane Elementary School is committed to increasing the emotional well-being and academic achievement of all students through the inclusive school model. Timber Lane views its diversity as a unique opportunity and strength that enriches and broadens the educational experiences of all learners. Timber Lane provides an enriched, rigorous academic program for each child. Ethnic- and language-minority students compose over 71% of the student body, representing more than 22 countries and 34 different languages.
The Timber Lane community believes in creating a safe environment that fosters respect and responsibility amongst all students so that every child can reach their full potential. We strive to inspire students to achieve academically, to think critically and creatively, to learn independently, and to become ethically responsible. A high degree of parent participation and community involvement is highly encouraged and valued as part of the total school program.
All children can and will learn in a variety of learning experiences. We educate the whole child. Together staff, students, and parents foster open, honest communication, respect for diversity, and high expectations for achievement.
We are committed to providing a learning environment where all students are successful.
