School Summary

Keene Mill Elementary School has been "Sharing a Vision of Greatness" among its students, parents, staff, and community for over 50 years!  We are proud of our rich history, our cultural diversity, and our inviting school climate.  As a professional learning community, Keene Mill's staff works in a collegial and professional manner to advance the mission of the school and ensure that all students become successful learners and productive citizens. Committed to providing a top quality instructional program, the Keene Mill staff implements an inclusive approach to instruction for all of our students, offering a continuum of services and opportunities that include an Advanced Academic Center, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and programs for students with disabilities. This dedication to meeting the needs of all students is evidenced through a learning environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, respect for individual differences, and the development of self-efficacy.

The Keene Mill PTA is a vital force in ensuring the success of our students, our families, and our community. Active parental support of programs and initiatives promotes the most positive learning environment possible, enables us to form effective home-school partnerships that benefit all students, and draws upon the many talents and strengths of the members of our diverse community.
