School SummaryLouise Archer Elementary School, named for its first educator, was built in 1939. It began with one educator and a desire to provide the best education to all students. Today, there are approximately 650 students and 65 educators and staff members continuing the dreams and goals which were created 80 years ago. The students, staff, and community share enormous pride in the school's rich history and its warm, friendly community atmosphere. This year, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Louise Archer ES.
Louise Archer ES creates an educationally stimulating, supportive, and positive learning environment so students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally in preparation to becoming motivated, confident, and respectful members of the community. Our staff works as collaborative learning teams to meet the diverse academic and social needs of all students while working diligently to empower and motivate students. We participate in meaningful professional development to incorporate research based instructional practices to support student learning. We engage students through project based learning and employ best instructional practices to encourage portrait of a graduate skills. Together, we create a child-centered environment which ensures success for all.
