School Summary

Pine Spring Elementary School provides a comprehensive program of educational experiences for all students from preschool through grade six. The school emphasizes a cooperative and inclusive approach to education. As a proud Title I and Local Level IV Advanced Academic site, Pine Spring provides a range of support and scaffolding to ensure that all students are challenged at their personal best, both academically and socially.

The richness of student diversity is celebrated at Pine Spring. Twenty-five countries and over 34 languages are represented within the student body. The English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) program offers these students an opportunity to develop their English proficiency while being integrated into the regular classroom. The staff and parents collaboratively make decisions that govern the function and focus of the school.

The mission of Pine Spring is that our community of staff, students, and families collaborate to empower each child to take charge of their own learning as they persevere, problem-solve, and strive for growth. We proudly provide equitable opportunities for all to ensure that each learner succeeds in a safe, caring, inclusive, and culturally diverse environment.

A high degree of community involvement is valued. Special attention is placed on outreach to and participation of parents in the total school program.
