School SummaryWestfield High School opened its doors in September of 2000 as the 24th high school in Fairfax County. Recognized for its award-winning design and located on a 159-acre site in Chantilly, the building promotes a safe and creative learning environment for students and faculty, and encourages community involvement. Westfield is a comprehensive high school that provides a range of academic, artistic, and athletic opportunities for all students. Special features include photography labs, a fully equipped TV studio, separate computer labs and a publications lab. Students are encouraged to choose from a comprehensive menu of extra- and co-curricular activities. Numerous clubs are available for students to explore academic and recreational interests, which provide a sense of community within the student body. Westfield High School has accumulated numerous awards, district, regional, State, national and international recognition for its success in academics, fine and performing arts and athletics.
