The staff at Forest Edge Elementary is dedicated to taking ownership of all students in the building, having a growth mindset, and using Responsive Classroom techniques to create a positive culture and climate. Teachers work in collaborative learning teams to foster positive and productive working relationships, create a rigorous instructional environment, and support the needs of all students. We believe that students should be held to a high academic standard, while being supported in their social and emotional growth.
Forest Edge staff and parents provides students with many opportunities to explore their interests, including a daily news broadcast hosted by students, thriving music programs, and a wide variety of after school clubs.
Our PTA supports the school in many ways, including through field trips, after school clubs, community events, and classroom volunteers. They provide additional art instruction through the PTArt program, a hands-on learning program hosted and taught by parents during the school day.
