Terra Centre Elementary, which opened in 1980, is located in the heart of Burke Centre.  As a newly renovated school (completion 2015) serving grades Pre-K through 6, we utilize the latest technology to enhance the educational experience for students.

Terra Centre is highly supported by a community who soundly believes in partnering in the education of our students.  As stakeholders in the future of education, our administrators, teachers, parents, and students synergize to go above and beyond the educational experience with dynamic programs such as AAP and FLES.  We are an inclusive school serving the needs of all with a strong focus on engagement and differentiated instruction.  Unique Terra Centre features, such as our Discovery Garden and outdoor classroom, allow students to creatively learn, grow and give back to the greater community.  Additional programs, such as Watch Dogs and parent volunteerism, boost our school/community bond.

Our devoted, compassionate staff is motivated to teach and guide creative, critical thinkers who are Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn.
