Colin L. Powell Elementary School first opened its doors in September 2003. By working in partnership, parents and faculty have created a strong partnership establishing traditions and ensuring our children have a safe, secure, and challenging learning environment.

Colin L. Powell Elementary empowers all learners to embrace new challenges with curiosity and compassion. The mission at Colin L. Powell Elementary is to create a learning environment that fosters high student engagement and inspires authentic learning; cultivate positive relationships, promote empathy, and celebrate diversity to recognize the value in all members of our community; and, develop resiliency and risk-taking by encouraging a positive, reflective mindset.
