School SummaryBull Run Elementary School opened its doors in September of 2000. Bull Run is located near the historic Manassas Battlefield Park and the Dulles Technology Corridor, the bridge from our past to the future. It is a warm and friendly school that serves a diverse student population.
We believe it is our responsibility to adhere to our core belief: We see you. We welcome you. You belong here at Bull Run Elementary.
Bull Run Elementary School embraces the Professional Learning Community philosophy in which no teacher is left in isolation and teams of teachers take collective responsibility for every student's success. We embrace the growth mindset philosophy and believe that every student has a gift.
Students learn in a safe, caring, and positive learning environment that stimulates intellectual curiosity, fosters a commitment to lifelong learning, strives for excellence in academic achievement, and promotes strong character development. Our goal is to educate the whole child and help students prepare to become productive, contributing citizens. We believe in the shared partnership of the school, parents, and community in achieving this goal.
We know that successful students learn both at home and at school. As such, Bull Run is very fortunate to have a community that greatly enhances our learning environment through participating in special events, volunteering at the school, and supporting the school's programs and faculty/staff. The ideal combination of devoted families, a supportive PTA, and talented and dedicated educational staff members gives students opportunities for optimal success.
